We’re looking for an experienced Lead Hardware Engineer to drive the creation of our next-generation products. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with external partners for all stages of hardware development, from initial design and engineering to final manufacturing. You will be instrumental in overseeing the hardware aspects of our plugin energy storage and virtual energy metering solutions, working closely with our product management, software engineering, and industrial design teams. Your contributions will be key to architecting systems that will make solar energy accessible to everyone.
How you will contribute
- Technology Development: Design and refine analog front-end and signal processing solutions to enhance the accuracy and robustness of our measurement technology.
- HF Signal Exploration: Investigate and apply high-frequency signal analysis methods to improve system performance and open new opportunities.
- Innovation & Prototyping: Develop, test, and validate new hardware concepts and modifications that push the boundaries of our technology.
- Test Environment: Build, support, and continuously improve test setups, with a focus on automation and scalability.
- Team Support: Provide technical and electrical support to colleagues, ensuring smooth integration of hardware with firmware and software.
- Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation to ensure reproducibility and knowledge transfer.
What makes you a great fit
- Possess an HTL, Bachelor, or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in analog circuit design, signal processing, and measurement systems.
- Experience with HF techniques and impedance analysis is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with test setup development, automation, and data acquisition systems.
- At least 3–5 years of relevant industry experience in hardware development and testing.
- Independent and structured working style, with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively support and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.

The position is available immediately. Monthly we offer € 3.341,50 gross (on a full-time basis, 38,5h). Depending on qualifications, this salary is negotiable
